This bootcamp is designed to help you not only learn movements, but understand how to connect them, interpret the music and create a more natural and expressive dance with your partner.

Dresscode: We would appreciate it if you could wear:
– Leaders: White top and black bottom
– Followers: Elegant dress or as an alternative white top and black bottom like the leaders

THE 5-HOUR JOURNEY
01 — BODY: Foundation & Sensual Movement (60 minutes)
Body awareness & posture, weight transfer, isolations, sensual body movement, body rolls & waves, individual styling
02 — CONNECTION: Partnerwork & Communication (60 minutes)
Lead & follow, connection fundamentals, frame & body communication, weight and energy, sensual partnerwork, creating comfortable and clear connection
BREAK: 15 minutes: Relax, hydrate and connect with the other participants
03 — MUSICALITY: Feel the Music (60 minutes)
Understanding the music, Musical accents, slow & fast interpretation, pauses & breaks, movement interpretation, expressing yourself through music
04 — FLOW: Transitions & Sensual Combinations( 60 minutes)
Smooth transitions, sensual partnerwork, combining techniques, creating continuous movement, styling & expression, developing your own flow
05 — ALCHEMY: Put It All Together (45 minutes)
Combine technique, connection, musicality & flow, guided partner sequence, musical application, freestyle exercises, social dance application, final dance experience
NO PARTNER? NO PROBLEM! You don’t need to come with a partner. You can register individually and we will use partner rotation during the bootcamp so everyone gets the opportunity to dance and practice.
